Now, between everything available in the Israeli supermarkets and online thanks to AliExpress, Next, iherb, and Amazon, I don't ask for anything from visiting family. Of course, I've been in Israel a very, very long time, and likely appreciate what is available here more than most other olim.
ETA- I just realized there is something I sometimes have my sister bring me: children's chewable medicines.

Creambo desserts, bissli & variety of kosher gum! Also bamba snacks sometimes, and if there was a way to bring chummus.... oh Israel has so much good kosher food.

I made aliyah 10 years ago. Pre cut foil has been available for years. Same with ziploc bags. Now with Amazon I get my orders in 10 days. Amazon won't deliver food so my DH still brings back treats like Hershey's chocolate and all the weird kinds of chips they sell in America when he travels for work.
Sneakers are expensive here so I do buy a pair or 2 when I am in the states.
Star kist Tuna in the pouches. Although rami Levi sells other brands of this which are pretty good.

You can get almost anything in Israel now. Sometimes the prices make it worth asking people to bring specific items which are much cheaper in chutz l'aretz. If someone wants specific brands, that would also be a reason for asking people to bring them.
