Hi, can someone recommend a general surgeon in Brooklyn? My doctor referred me to Winnick and Adler group in maimonides, but there are a bunch of surgeons and I want recommendations from people who have btdt.

I am a PA and I did my surgical rotation with Dr. Adler. He is a great experienced surgeon and very nice. Would recommend him.

Sherwinter did my husbands femoral and inguinal hernias laparoscopically. No complication. Smooth recovery bh

Would recommend both Dr. Sherwinter and Dr. Winick. They are both excellent and great with follow up as well. Hatzlacha!

Dr. Ziemba referred my husband to Dr. Sherwinter, he hasn't done it yet so no feedback though.

Yes, I just had this done. Dr. Harry Adler. He’s a doll too.

Bumping up this thread b/c I need this info now - were you happy with Dr. Sherwinter? (I'm not sure if you meant good luck sarcastically or not.)

I had Dr Adler. He’s great, caring, great bedside manner, great follow up care.

No..I mean good luck with the surgery!! We were happy with him. Only complaint is the follow-up visit we waited very long. But the surgery was fine.

I used Dr Adler for a complicated surgery. He was great. My daughter used Dr sidewinder for append ectomy . He was also great.
