I literally have been searching high and low for an excellent dentist that takes my kids' insurance...
My experience has been: if he/she is amazing, they only take private insurance.
If they take my insurance: it's at least a three month wait to schedule and then again three month wait to schedule any work that needs to be done :  .
The dentist that we have been using is not for us for several reasons.
Is there any hope finding someone??

I an thrilled at Ezra Medical Center but I heard they don't take on new patients anymore.
I use Dr. Jackson for kids.
It's about a 2 month wait to schedule the six month exams and from then about a 2 week wait for work to be done if needed.
If you are on top of scheduling the exams every six months exactly before any issues arise there should be no problem as far as scheduling. And once you are a patient if you ever have tooth pain, or see a cavity big enough to see clearly with the eyes, or what looks like a swelling on the gums that's right near a cavity they can see you same day for emergency appointment.
I try asking at exams which teeth have minor cavities they don't need to fill now, so I know to rush in if swelling develops right near those teeth which can be a sign of infection developing.
