I never learned to ride a bike (I tried. They don't like me. They throw me off.)

I can't whistle or crack my knuckles or snap my fingers either.

Weird one. I cannot snap. I can do the movement, but it doesn't make any noise

THIS! I can't navigate my way out of a wet paper bag. When I get off the bus I get confused whether to turn left or right. Half the time I catch the bus on the wrong side of the street, or miss my stop, or 100 other things. Once I get a routine down pat I'm functional, but new things are always scary.

When I go new places, especially in Jerusalem, I need someone to go with me. I have terrible panic attacks when I get lost, and I feel like I'm 5 years old and can't find my mom. I literally regress to a very young and helpless mindset, and it's terrifying.

I have learned to do the graceful change of direction in the middle of crossing a street. Step off the curb, get midway through the cross-section, do a half spin on your toes, walk back to said curb with the nose in the air. Purposeful brisk walk heading down the block until your call for help to a kind knowledgeable person is answered.

I consider myself pretty capable and intelligent yet I have never ever solved a Rubik’s cube!

I’m also sadly lacking in the ability to keep track of bills and paperwork; luckily, my husband is very responsible.

Remember information that doesn't make complete sense to me. If I can't figure out how it fits into life, history, science, etc, it's gone. It's like I have nowhere to file it.

The noise comes from your middle finger hitting your palm. Not from the rubbing of your middle finger and thumb together. Once I learned that, I was able to snap with the sound LOL

I think I was trying too hard at the rubbing fingers together

I can't make small talk to save my life and if I try to I always feel extremely awkward and like I'm saying the wrong thing.

I never had a problem snapping but never knew that's where the noise comes from!
