This might be a funny question, but I’m a bt and unsure of myself so bear with me 😉

My 3 year old Dd wants to be a witch for Purim. I’m fine with it but wondering if it’s too Halloweenish and will look funny in her BY school. Thanks!

She's 3. Anything goes. She might even change her mind another 6 times until purim.

I wouldn’t do. Many of the kids wouldn’t have a concept of what a witch is.

Maybe do Vashti instead?

I found out what a vampire is at age 8 from a neighbor's costume...I'd let my 3 year old do it though if that's what she wanted.

I'm chassidish and I've seen witches on Purim, albeit not very many.

Witches are associated with "magic" and sorcery. Would you allow your child to dress up as a fortune teller or palm reader? Some people may have an issue with that.

Vashti is a character from the Megillah; a witch is culturally and symbolically very un-Jewish.

Toys 4 u sells a witch costume, I've seen quite afew kids dressed as a witch. When we think of a witch we think of a mean bad lady, we don't associate it with magic.

Just write Ein-Dor on her hat and robe and hey presto, a character from Tanach.
