DS is super skinny and it's really hard to find pants that fit properly. Most styles are way too big by the waist and look baggy and off. I bought girls skinny pants for him from H & M and I think they look fine but DH commented that they look too tight. I didn't grow up with boys so I'm not really sure how boys pants should fit  How do I know if they're too tight for him and I need to size up? I'm clueless here. Pls. help.

I dislike the look of skinny jeans on men
when they are a little bit heavy they realy look funny
on skinny men they make the men look even thinner

Practically speaking, make sure he can pull them down on his own to use he bathroom. It drives me crazy when I struggle to change diapers or have to help otherwise independent kids use the bathroom.

If they need to jump up and down to pull them up (like we ladies do while putting on tights) then they are too skinny.

How old is your son? For me that would make a difference.

Lol. I once heard that if you can tell whether it's a quarter or nickel in the pocket, it's too tight.
