You need to get on this asap.
Most of the rbs seminarim are compleatly finished with rishum for next year.
If you even want to consider peninay chein or bnot harama call them asap for a rishum form and send it back even if you are not sure
dont miss your window.

ditto for most Jerusalem seminaries too (even not the big ones).
If your DD is in 8th grade, it's getting late.
7th graders are already 'unofficially' applying to places.

Apparently all the schools signed an agreement that the current 7th graders wont start applying untill april. I hope people are sticking to it.

Hi. It's the OP amother here. Thanks for all the feedback!
My daughter is currently in 7th grade but since she is my first and I have so little experience in this area I decided to start doing my research now.
As of now I'm interested in Beit Bina, Shoshanim, Lapidot, Netiv Hachinuch, Bnot Chayil, Duparc... I think I will have to visit each school.
How hard is it to get into these schools?

Bnot Chayil wants to be very closed and frum. Bnos Hadassah has many chassidish girls, mostly English-speaking. They changed their name, btw, but I don't remember offhand to what.

Most seminarim do not do the full bagrut program. They do a few - enough that a girl in the school cannot sign up to do these test "externi" - I.e., externally. If your dd will need bagruyot after 12th grade, she'll have to do the rest on her own.
Bais Yaakov schools in Jerusalem that do all the bagruyot include: Dupark (Givat Shaul, older school, cute young principal), Lapidot (principal Moriah Greenwald, on the Neve campus, connected to Neve), Darkei Sarah (very academic, more open, in the building of Gutnick), Shoshanim (art and sciences oriented, on the Neve campus but renting, the school is not connected to Neve), Bnos Chayil (complete bagruyot but not at the highest level, on principle. On Sorotzkin), Beit Sarah (in Ramot, wants to be very closed. If your dh wears a non-white shirt, they don't want you).

Any questions? I'll try to check this thread and answer.

Hi! Any more information regarding Lapidot? Is it mostly for olim? What kind of families send there?
Also, regarding Bnot Chayil, do they have a sizable group of girls from anglo families? Or is almost all Israelis?
Anyone heard of Bnot Tziporah?

I don't know anything about the school itself, but I live near bnos chayil and have heard girls from there speaking english at the bus stop.

Hopping onto this old thread. OP, what did you decide?

Anyone have new information?

I'm specifically interested in Lapidot or Shoshanim.
