I have read school stuff from my grandmother. You bet it's precious.

See that is exactly my weakness and enemy for decluttering - SENTIMENTALISM! Whenever I start de-cluttering, I get lost reading at the different papers, books and magazines stuffed into my drawer. And then I feel so bad throwing things away which maybe one day my kids or I or anyone else will get a kick out of! It's a conscious effort for me to throw things out.

On the other hand, it feels great once it's done - like losing weight!

Start with going through the things that you absolutely DO NOT need. I did that and posted things on Luach to sell which went very well.

As for clothes, I have a great tzedaka that picks up, but then there's all the clothes that I "MIGHT" use, or the kids might use, etc. How do I sort through children's clothes that are not being worn now, but IY"H will be in the future?

Would you share the number of this tzedaka that picks up? I have some really nice clothing that either don't fit or very outdated.

What do you do with paper and books? Like old high school notebooks and college textbooks that you've not used for like 10 years?

Throw them out or put them in recycling. after 10 years nobody wants them. Newer editions have come out and the old ones have no market value.
