Far Rockaway, not Flatbush. 2.5 years ago I got a dress on sale at Fame for under $200. I made sure I hadn’t seen it on anyone else. I don’t know how much my friends spend. I got a sheva brachos dress from Mezzo during their 75% off sale but I don’t remember how much it cost.

Mezzo is a great idea for around $300-$500, or you can try Miri 2 in Boro Park it's a little cheaper than Miri in Flatbush.
As others said, can wear the dress again for Shabbos Sheva Brachos or a best friend's wedding.
Macy's sometimes has cool options too; but it's a matter of luck.

Another vote for Fashion Island and you can also try Unique Boutique on Coney Island Avenue between Avenue J and K. As far as I know, she has all sizes and is pretty reasonably priced.

Price tag is whatever you decide to spend. I wore a black skirt, boots with a rip, and a sweatshirt. All very useful things for future occasions! Simcha was as joyous as we wanted and Baruch HaShem still happily married years later.

My vort was a bit over a year ago and I got my dress in the 400’s range from Equisite in BP. It was gorgeous and they have size 12
