We wanted to take the kids away for a night but are having a hard time scheduling. My husband has a bunch of weddings in Lakewood and we were wondering if there was a way to combine both. Is there a place to take the kids overnight that is somewhat close to Lakewood? Ideally something with indoor swimming or water park

Coco key & sahara sams are about an hour from Lakewood but they're only open weekends. There aren't any others close to Lakewood.

Thanks for that reply. Are there at least any nicer hotels nearby that have an indoor pool?

Sahara sams is open during Lakewood mid winter break during the week. It’s advertised in the local magazines- separate hours

One year we went to a hotel and got a suite for our family. We found out beforehand that they had a pool. Most hotels don’t have pools in Manhattan- this one was in Jersey City. I think there’s a hotel in deal that has a pool.

That’s a good idea but it’s expensive for one family. Maybe if 2 families share? Hotels are even cheaper.

A water park you have to book a room and get tickets for each person. Not cheap. (Although I do agree it’s expensive)

Marriott fairway villas in Galloway nj, it's an hour from Lakewood. They have an indoor pool and we were able to go a few times during our stay with our girls when there were only girls or it was empty. Each suite has 2 bedrooms and a pull in bed in the living room and a full kitchen. There's also a Jacuzzi in the room
