We live in a really small community with a not so nice mikveh that I personally refuse to use. But this week my mikveh night falls on Friday... so dh and I got a hotel room nearish (about 2 miles away) the mikveh in the next town over. My Dh works until like an hour before shabbos so we will be super rushed and end up checking in right before shabbos and have to drop our stuff of and go straight to the mikveh. Any ideas for what food to cook and bring with us so we don't starve?

The usual, just prepare on Thursday and pack it neatly in the fridge. Cut down on the runny stuff, maybe bake the fish and do schnitzel instead of wet chicken.
Take a hot plate with you and just place all the food on top.

Cook something easy to warm up. Or that will stay warm. But check with the hotel if they allow hot plates/warmers in the room.
