Aeroloses are not too dressy. Sam edelman and french sole have good options, but not exactly what I want..

I think I tried everything already. Sad
Im about to give up.

Nice, a bit pricey.

Nothing is exactly what I have in mind..I think they used to make them- thick flat sole, leather inside, and dressy. But now theyre making these thin soles, with pvc or manmade materials. Oh, well...

Thanks for the help.

Sadly, I couldnt find anything. I dont think they make shoes for me. Maybe I should try the mens dept -velvet loafers in smallest size... LOL

Or the kids section.

I have issues with my feet so I wanted Shabbos shoes that wouldn't hurt and would look reasonable so I went to the sale room at Shoe Barn in Monsey and found a pair of black sparkly Bob's (Sketchers) for around $25 that work great.

Have you ever worn this brand? They offer a choice of widths.

Ooh thats cute...I got the same thing there, but not the sparkly one, black/grey for everday. It happens to fit nice on my foot and is very comfortable. For that price, my daughter got herself a pair too.

For regular shabbos that would probably do, but I'm having a close simcha now, where I would like something dressier.

For some reason, this cut would not look good on my foot. Its possible that my instep is too high, and a more closed shoe would fit me better. Like a smoking flat style.

Funny how years ago, people were wearing these thin open flats, and it looked fine on them! But on my feet, it didnt look right.

I second Nordstrom's. You can't go wrong.

Personally, I'm a big fan of Naot and Ecco. Their styles can range from nerdy, to funky, to comfy yet elegant. BeautiFeel are nice, too. All of these are leather, and extremely high quality. They are expensive, but they will last forever. I have some Eccos and Naot that are 10 years old and still look good with a little bit of polish.

I got a pair of beautifeel as a hand me down. They were barely worn as they were too tight for original owner. OMG I love these shoes. They are quit fancy looking though. Almost like channel booty knock off. But soooooo comfortable.

I wonder if you're judging yourself too harshly. It's one thing if the shoes you're trying on are truly uncomfortable. But are you really sure they don't look good on you?
Try bringing along a friend you trust next time you go shoe shopping. When you look down at your feet, or when you look at them a mirror, you're seeing them from a different angle that someone else would. Maybe you just need someone with a different perspective and an honest opinion to help you.

I wish I can just buy any shoe. In the past Ive bought shoes out of desparation, but then I wouldn't even use them. There are so many millions of shoes out there, but most of them are narrow at the front. Looks aside, they're not even comfortable for me.
