I have 2 nephew that applied to mesivta’s both in Lakewood and out-of-town and I didn’t here either way from their parents and I feel bad asking but a friend of mine told me her son got into a mesivta that happens to be in Lakewood and not one that they had applied too..

Lakewood mesivtas give answers sporadically. Some get that night, next day, 1-2 weeks etc.
Some boys are in and some boys itvwill be a few weeks.
Also they are short slots. There are about 100 new boys and only 30 new slots - so depends how many boys are going out of town.
Also the schools interview in shifts. I’m not even sure if all schools finished interviewing yet.
