Just found out my son who is 14 months old has a genetic disorder called Digeorge syndrome. Does anyone have experience or know someone who had a child with this syndrome-
And how did the child do....

A few years ago, I worked with two children who have the syndrome. They were quite young - 2-4 years old. They were really great kids, fun personality, responded really well being worked with, and progressed really nicely. Do you have any specific questions? The children aged out of the program I worked in.

Anybody can tell me if they know anybody with this issue and how the child is doing?

I worked with a kid last year who has DiGeorges. (I'm a speech pathologist)
Cognitively, he's fine. Very smart, very social, great sense of humor.
He has speech difficulties, specifically with articulation and prosody.
He also gets PT and OT.
He goes to the resource room for math.
