My kids learned to climb out of their cribs at around 18 months old.
All you got to do is very calmly lead him back to his bed. The first time I'd say something like: "it's bedtime, we stay in our beds. I love you! Goodnight!" After that, I wouldn't respond verbally at all. Just take the kid by the hand and put him back in his bed, rinse, repeat! So long as your response is very matter a fact, very boring, the game of climbing out of bed will eventually lose its charm and your little guy will learn that when it's time to go to bed, we stay in bed.
