Anyone know of an extremely early kriyas megilla in Flatbush (preferred near Ave J) that I can go to before my husband needs to leave for shacharis at 7:40am?

This can’t be hard to find. Shacharis minyanim in my neighborhood start st 6am. People need to get to work. It’s not an unusual need

Getting back in time for your husband to get to a 7:40 minyan may be tough since neitz is around 7:10/7:15 in Brooklyn on Purim. Ask your husband to get the zmanim for the shuls that are close to you, maybe you'll find something that could work.

YI of Ave J has a 6:05 minyan on Purim which moves very quickly and should get you back home in time. There's a good chance you will meet me there if you come. In my experience of doing this for many years, Landau's at 9/L may have an even earlier minyan, but I don't think their schedule is available online, so you'd have to send DH there when it gets closer to check the Purim schedule.

Can update closer but pupko shul on east 4th and avenue I has an early minyan and megilla is usually at around 7. Takes about half an hour, they read really quickly.

Apparently you can if it is after Alot HaShachar. If there is no other choice. We have a local minyan that does it, but no one considers it an ideal option.

Do you know what time they'd be up to megilla at YI of Ave J? It's right near my house, so that's really convenient.

I don't know, and I go through this every year, because if you're one second late and miss the first word, you lose everything. So I usually get there extra early just to be safe. They usually daven quite quickly, so I will probably get there at 6:35 to get settled, and I would expect megillah to be finished by 7:15 or earlier. But these are just my estimates, and it would be better if your DH is able to stop in and ask the gabbai or the Rav what time you should plan to come.
