I know it's very juvenile of me, but my favorite song is "Trust in Hashem" by Morah blanka.

I love the Mitzva Tree.

some more favorites are

"My Heart is in the East"

and

"I am not afraid of Darkness"....(when I was a young Mom, I taught this to a friend of mine who used to call me every time there was a thunderstorm, cuz she was afraid....she told me later that she sings this whenever it thunders and it gets her thru.)

As to my favorite, I happen to love "Ivri Anochi" though it's half Hebrew/Half English.

Funny. I think we are dating ourselves, based on our choices.
Those of us who grew up in the 80s and 90S are choosing mbd, fried, country yossi, MBC, Rabbi's sons, Jep, Destiny
Those who are millenials are naming ari goldwag songs, shwekey, some later avraham fried songs.

But everyone knows Abie Rottenberg songs! I love it that my kids listen to the same Journeys and marvelous kiddos songs that I did growing up!

We should do a spinoff of songs that stood the test of time. Today's songs are popular for like 6 months and then it's over. A new CD or single comes out and usurps its place. When we were kids, a popular song lasted years.

Abie covers it. Possibly that poster prefers the cover, or never heard the original.

There are so many apps now that have these old English songs. My kids have really been enjoying them. The messages in many of them are still so strong.

Wow, so many of my favorite songs. Brings back such memories. For me I find different songs remind me of different periods in my life. Now I want to go dig out some old tapes.
One that hasn't yet been mentioned, The Iron Butterfly by Next Generation-I loved that album. The one about Hashem going on strike, looking back from the future, shomayim's special child etc really touched me, well all of the songs did.

So funny, I was thinking about this thread over Shabbos and came here to mention The Iron Butterfly. "A Time for New Beginnings" is one of my favorites.

Black Hattitude Sellin Out/Buyin In (really 2 songs, but hey) would top my list as well.
