Bais Yaakov cookbook chocolate chip pound cake. It said 2 6x3 loaf pans. I bought loaf pans. It’s actually 4x8. The batter is overflowing over the pans after 30 minutes in the oven. and not even done in 30 minutes. What did I do wrong?

Not sure . I made it a few times and never had an issue.

I doubled the recipe and used 4 loaf pans instead of 2.
