My kids want to go for a day next week to Florida. The rates are amazing! With the corona virus scare, what do you think?

I probably would, unless I was caring for or seeing a high risk individual on a regular basis such as an elderly grandparent.

What would you be doing once you are in Florida.
I would think that going to a theme park would be as problematic as flying versus flying and then spending time in normal - e.g not in places packed with people.

NO
I would not raise risk level.
I would want to be home surrounded by support system if necessary if quarantine or who knows what happens R"L.
And would not want to potentially lose money either.
Things are changing and developing rapidly.
Interesting times.

Is there a chance you could get stuck there? Like if someone on plane ha or they wonβt let you fly back. That would scare me most.

Thirteen days ago, Italy had 821 known cases. Now the country is on lockdown as their hospitals cannot handle the amount of sick.
The US already has over 500 cases and that's with very limited testing. Prepare for the situation to escalate. There's a reason these flights are cheap. Don't be an idiot.

I flew last week. The airport was relatively empty. As was the flight. A few ppl with masks. I would fly myself now but wipe down tray and seat handles and not use bathroom and not touch face. and excessively wash hands with soap. I wouldnt trust my kids to do all that, so I wouldn't go with them.

This thing is predicted to be worse and more widespread by Pesach.
So no.
Of course, Hashem could end this magefa at any time.
