Most of the people who are reading don't know who you're talking about, but if one or two are familiar with the situation and they can figure it out, doesn't that make it lashon hara?

It can be. It one time happened to me that I tried to be vague enough about a situation, but the details got forced out of me and people figured it out.
Venting can be healthy and mutar, but we have to be careful so that not to commit lashon hara.
L'toeles has very specific guidelines and it can't be from someone with a "vendetta", can't be exaggerated, and has to have direct implications for other people.
