My 8 year old used to sleepwalk occasionally but the past few months it's been every night. Any tips to help? She wants have sleepovers with friends but at this point I don't feel safe letting her sleep anywhere where I can't keep an eye on her.

I would speak to my pediatrician.
I don't know if there's a cure for sleepwalking. Possibly not eating certain foods before sleep. I had a relative who used to have night terrors as a child. I think one of the instructions was no milk/cheese before bedtime.
But I'd postpone sending my child to sleepovers until it's dealt with. You could have friends sleeping over at your house if you think your child wouldn't be laughed at, if her friend's caught her sleepwalking.

Thanks. The pediatrician just said to make sure she’s safe and wait until she grows out of it.
