I'm thinking of breaking out one of those 1000 piece puzzles that we buy from time to time that never get started because everyone figures it'll never get finished

Excuse me Rebbetzin Coral, but that's not for you to say. Unless you're hashem, you can't know what hashem wants. Because you think movies are wrong, it doesn't mean everyone else thinks so as well.

Make davening and learning your priority now not movies

So you think it’s possible Hashem wants movies to be watched, not davening?

We can do both. We don't need to stop our lives and panic. We can and should go on with life.

Get new board game.
Kids craft to make new Pesach pillows, sew buttons, hemming for older girls.
Kodesh learning goal
Personal development time
Improve reading and writing practice
Make photo books

I use a block schedule and DCs fill in which blocks they will do what the night before.

Ew. Fill the void? Awful movie about a woman forced into marriage. Not something I’d want my kids to watch. Home alone is also very x-mas-y.

I let my kids watch movies so maybe some Disney movie. I also want them to watch that documentary about the plastic filling up our world - a plastic ocean. Maybe American Factory. I want my kids to understand how things are made and that everything has a cost - human and otherwise.

What are good movies on the Jewish Mostly Music website?

As a tremendous chesed, Oorah just made all of their Shmorg videos available for free. It’s hours and hours and hours of good clean fun stuff for the kids to watch. There’s literally dozens of videos. Just click on each video, then right-click, and you can download the video to your computer. Not every video is for all ages, but I think there’s plenty of material there for everyone.

I think she meant movies for herself not for kids.
