I read the serial in Mishpacha. I LOVED it. I really like well-written Jewish historical fiction and she's superb.

I read it
Was very interesting. Interesting concept, never discussed before.
Ended very open ended, not tied up neatly.
I found it very well written.

Amazing, incredible read that was so well researched, it felt so authentic. Book stayed in my head long after I finished reading it. Definitely worth reading!

It was definitely one of the better serials in mishpacha. Had the author's trademark style but didn't seem as dark as some of the others. But don't expect a light happy read either. I love how it brought me into a time and place that I'd never really thought about before, and the characters were very compelling too.
