My brother in law from BP was tested positive.
My sisters father in law from Williamsburg was tested positive.
My sisters sister in law from Staten Island was tested positive. 5 of her siblings from BP were tested positive as well.
They're all in quarantine with their families.

No one I know was tested. Lakewood.

No one seems to be testing which I think is making the numbers look way better.

- FIL - sick a full week now
- neighbor family - 3 male adults. For sure exposed
- neighbor - entire large family
- bachur just returned from philly yeshiva (exposed)

I personally know three people in Lakewood who tested positive.

The numbers are probably way higher than the official count because they aren't testing much here.

They are saying that at this point everyone should assume they have it. They are saying NOT to get tested because it makes no difference. Only get tested if you are elderly or in the high risk category.
We may never know how many people actually have it.

About 80% of people who have it don't know they have it. So however many people you know that are sick, multiply that by at least 5.

Everyone and their neighbor is feeling Ill yet being told not to test but self quarantine .and seek medical attention only if they have difficulty breathing. whoever I know that did test, came back positive except one. They will not test symptomatic family members if one is positive. the numbers are alot more than reports are showing.
I'm seeing this in BP, Monroe, Monsey and Lakewood.

Where are getting this from? At some point 89% of people with the virus will get a fever. Less than 10% are continously asymptomatic but they might be asymptomatic for a few days when still contagious prior to experiencing symptoms.

I'm going to include people who have tested positive or have symptoms and know that they were exposed.

Uncle in 50s tested positive. Mild. Family tested, no results yet. Kensington.

Brother in law. Mild flu like. No results yet. Exposed. Boro Park. Rest of family not tested yet.

Brother in law. Lakewood. Tested positive. Flu like symptoms. Fever and ache. Rest of family stuff fine. Not tested yet.

Brother in law and sister, 2 children. Lakewood. No one tested, but extended exposure to bil's sister in Brooklyn who tested positive. Very very mild. But all had fever at some point except for 5 year old, who did complain about headache.

Husband's co-worker. Mild. Not tested but exposed.

Dh's other coworker in Brooklyn. Whole extended family. Exposed to in-laws that have. Very severe symptoms. Wife almost ended up on hospital for breathing issues. Young. In 30s. B"H, she is doing better.

My ex husband tested positive. He works for the MTA. Kids and I have been around him so we’re all quarantined. I began before Shabbos calling places I’ve been and notifying them that I’ve been in close contact with someone who has tested positive.

DS#2 appears to have it. He arrived home from Lakewood (BMG) Tuesday night and immediately went into quarantine in our guest room. He started showing symptoms Friday morning but DH and I have not been in close contact with him.
