We did this last year. No quarantine, but we didn't have any transportation.

I rented a video every day of Chol Hamoed, and/or a new story tape. We had our new Pesach toys, had them play in the backyard. It was fine.

If it's nice weather, I have no issue going to a state park. We hike, eat, take along bikes for the older ones. I've been wanting to check out Minnewaska.

Minnewaska is gorgeous but you end up near people a lot. Everything is a few mountain trails near water. Not really any wide open spaces. This is from what I recall, anyone else who was there feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

I was thinking to do a canvas paint session. Find a tutorial and buy paint supplies
You can also decorate mugs or bowls with oils sharpies. And then have new pesach dishes.

It will be very hard

You can also buy an escape-room-in-a-box. They're not terribly expensive and can be a lot of fun at home!

AYLOR but these activities can be halachically questionable on chol hamoed, especially with participants over bar/bat mitzvah.

Painting pottery we asked in the past was told it was fine. I guess canvas painting id also ask.
