B”H, I have something very exciting to share!

I wrote a book called “With All I Am,” about using every part of ourselves in our personal avodas Hashem and connecting with everything we have - our hopes and dreams, struggles and failures, life experiences and every part of who we are. I wrote it from my own experience.

Many of you were along for the ride with me when I posted about my high-risk twin pregnancy (I’m Floralwhite Amother from “November 2017”) and the tremendous hashgacha pratis my family and I experienced that year, as well as the next year when we grappled with what certain diagnoses would mean for our family moving forward. It was a whirlwind couple of years and I’m thankful for my Imamother friends - you kept me sane during some reeeeaally tough stuff. Hug

The pregnancy/birth is the main storyline of the book. I wove it together with stories from my past and chapters written as tefillos. I used examples from my own life to show the deep and intimate nature of our relationship with our Creator, even during our dark times. The book covers some sensitive subjects - including mental illness, pregnancy loss, childhood trauma (written delicately and non-explicitly), and disclosing difficult information in shidduchim. The book isn’t ABOUT these things, but they are parts of real life, and therefore they are means by which we can grow closer to Hashem. Real life isn’t always “pretty,” and our tefillos don’t have to be either - they just need to be REAL.

(This probably makes the book sound overly heavy, but trust me there’s tons of pleasant, upbeat, uplifting, and even humorous stuff in there too!)

There’s also a piece written by my husband, sharing a spouse’s perspective.

Haskamos include:

- Dr. Alan Flashman of The Family Institute of Neve Yerushalayim

- Rabbi Yitzchak Breitowitz of Ohr Somayach

- Rabbi Yisroel Grossberg of Ohr Naava, and Rabbinic Advisor to Chazkeinu (mental health peer support organization for Jewish women)

- Rabbi Ben Tzion Shafier of The Shmuz

I poured my heart and soul into this book. I hope it is well received, and I hope that if you read it you’ll share your reflections with me.

With All I Am (Tfutza Publications) is available in several places online, including:

Mazel tov, fellow Soferet! May you know only simcha, menuchas hanefesh, and nachas. May you have the zechus to inspire many, many people through this work in which you invested heart and soul. I can't wait to read it, especially during this time of fear and confusion.

Thank you so much!! The song lyrics are actually included in the book! :-)
Music is a form of tefillah for me, and I'm sure for many others too.
