I know YOU remember a bunch of my story... (I hope). If you have a chance to read the book I'd be really interested to hear what you think.

Iā€™m looking forward. I just ordered it. šŸ™‚

I just followed the link to your song and these lyrics really jumped out at me:

I stand with you, please know I do.
And when your heart is breaking know Iā€™m crying next to you.
Look through My eyes, come see your light.
And know, I believe in you.

I placed your darkness inside you.
But no one feels your pain more than I do.
I am with you even in the dark,
Please listen with your heart ā€“
I always believe in you.

I'm TTC atm after an early mis over Sukkos - I have wacky cycles and that pregnancy was a real dream come true, naturally conceived with the exact gap I wanted after my last child. 6 months down the line, I'm coming to the end of my second cycle on Letrozole and trying so hard to just not think - not to think of an EDD of Dec 6, not to think of baby names, not to think of getting a BFP. Not to think of ANYTHING, because it just hurts so bad to have dreams crushed again and again. But your words did give me a new perspective, and I hope I'll feel Hashem right by me no matter which way this cycle ends - whether my heart breaks or not.

Thanks Kiwi13

I'm so sorry you're hurting. That's a really painful struggle. I hope and daven that this cycle brings you every bracha in the world, and that you should feel Hashem with you all the time through all of it.

I still think about your song all the time! I'm hoping it can be professionally recorded one day and published. It's extraordinary.

Just listened to the new link you sent. It sounds amazing. I put it as one of the most meaningful lyrics and stunning tunes of all time. No need for any new recording. And I didn't realize you had it on a website where it can really help people!

Wow thank you so much!! I played around with it until I got it as far as I could with my level of musical skill. :-) It would be cool to have it professionally recorded someday.

Just wanted to post on this thread that I bought Kiwi13's book, and binge read it between one night and then next morning because I couldn't put it down.

If you appreciate mental health topics and raw, achingly real writing you will love this book. And it's interlaced with so much Godliness and sincere emunah. It's at times heartbreaking but balanced out with so much soul and realness.

I don't think I've yet to read a book written by a frum woman that touches such vulnerable topics with brilliant clarity and such a level of magnificent writing.

I knew I was in for a treat, but couldn't have imagined the extent of it Smile

Kiwi, you can take a bow. You are a shining inspiration of what it means to be a Yid who uses *all* she's got to get closer to Hashem - all the blessings, and all the challenges.
