I thought it was totally coincidental, but on the day I started feeling symptoms (cough, congestion, chills, etc...) I also suddenly had tremendous lower back pain. I thought I twisted something. I didn't think it was related.
Now I've talked to two different people who told me they are having back pain (but no other symptoms) and I'm wondering, is backpain a symptom of corona virus?
I think it's important to identify symptoms, so people who think all is fine will realize how widespread this is.....

I have back pain but not lower back pain.
I have a cough and a headache.
I dont want to get tested because I'm in quarantine anyhow and I dont understand the point of going to a doctor's office and potentially infecting other patients there.
So, if I have Covid then, yes. Back pain is a symptom.

I have back pain, but no other symptoms. I don't think I'm sick. It's from sitting on the floor with my toddler and playing with my preschooler all day...
Edit: now having other symptoms:( my doctor said that back pain is a symptom...

Yes. Yes. I have terrible back pain but husband kept saying it's not a symptom. Maybe just from all the stress and anxeity

A relative of mine who has tested positive did have back pain throughout 2 weeks of illness. (Other symptoms were fever - not so high - slight shortness of breath and extreme fatigue). She is late 60's and B"H recovering well.

I've been having back pain too. I really think it's just stress. Does it feel like muscle aches? That can be a CV symptom.

Muscle aches are definitely a symptom. I have Fibromyalgia, so hurt all the time anyway, but the lower back pain was especially bad. I also have it right between my shoulder blades, along my spine.
Heating pads and Acamol/Tylenol work wonders. Stay hydrated as much as possible. Sports drinks are your friend.
Take extra magnesium to help muscles relax, and to soothe irritated nerves.
