I love you sousvide. Chuck eye roast, put it in a double zip loc bag with a bottle of duck sauce, or a combination of 1 cup red wine, 1/2 cup oil, and a pound of sliced mushrooms with several cloves of garlic. 145 degrees for 24 hours.

Just put the bag in a pot with water and stick in sous vide? The water starts out cold?

Thanks for starting this thread. I have one and was wondering if I should save it for pesach. Thing is, I like to cook everything before and freeze. Is there any point in souviing then?

want to buy one sous vide but I saw on google that I can use an instant pot instead did anyone tried it? also do you really need a sealed bag or I can use instead a zip loc bag?
