My teenage son has mild asthma. The doctor has him in isolation for almost 2 weeks already to prevent him from contracting the virus. 3 of us have it in the house already. Does anyone have experience? Did the symptoms show much worse with asthma.
I am extremely worried and would love some information.

My teenage son has mild asthma and he got Coronavirus. It was mild and he has already recovered. He had a sore throat and mild cough and general weakness. It took about a week for him to recover versus my other kids who recovered after just 3 days or so.

My 2.5 year old with asthma actually had it the worst from all my kids - but for about 2-3 days. He wheezed a lot and needed his nebulizer, but not really different than any other respiratory virus, bH.

A woman in her thirties with asthma is currently in the hospital with covid. It's difficult to predict, but the truth is that there's little to lose by being stringent. Unfortunately the reverse is not the case.

Thank you all for your responses. Of course we are as careful as can be but we were all careful and 3 of us (or more) have it. I’m worried it’s only a matter of time. We bring him his meals... there can’t be zero contact.
