My husband seems to be showing some symptoms. Extreme fatigue, muscle cramps, nausea and diarrhea. (A bit of a stuffy nose and mild cough, but he's had that for nearly a month now. So have I.) I would like to.know what we're dealing with since his symptoms don't seem typical... unless they are?
Some are saying that they won't test you at this point unless you're showing dangerous respiratory symptoms ch"v. Is this true? And if it's not true, where can I take him to be tested? Any of those mobile drive- through testing sites or whatever?

My husband had symptoms for close to 2 weeks. I finally called the doctor and even though they are not seeing anyone we had a phone consult.
Based on my husband’s symptoms the dr recommended he get tested and was able to arrange it.
So I would suggest that you call your doctor and the doctor will tell you if/how to get tested

The general consensus in Israel is that testing is pointless. If you need emergency assistance, then don't hesitate to call. High fever, especially if it doesn't respond to Tylenol, shortness of breath, dizziness, a cough that leaves you exhausted, or a painful and tight chest feeling.

The only treatment available is medical support for dangerous symptoms. There is nothing that can be done otherwise, except for you to stay at home and treat it as a very bad flu. Do everything you would do for a flu.

Make sure that you get as much sleep as possible. Force yourself to rest even if you're not sleepy. Your body is working overtime to fight this, so give it its best chance.

It could also be low fever. I know many ppl fever never went above 100.5.

My in laws have had a low grade fever for 2 weeks now with all the symptoms (cough, fever, fatigue, weakness, no appetite) but their dr keeps telling them to stay put. Take Tylenol. Drink a lot. Make sure to eat. That’s it. We are all getting nervous because they aren’t young - but dr keeps saying to wait it out.

There is being a drive through testing on Monday at Ocean County College. Get there early before they run out. The Lakewood Scoop probably has details about it.
