I live in a part of the country that has unbearable summers. We're talkin' between 110-120 real feel for two months straight. And huuuumiiiidddd.
What weekday shoes do I get for my 3 year old? Will sneakers be too hot? Last year he wore saltwater sandals....but he was only 2. Hes too old for those this year, right?
What do I get?

Why would he be too old for sandals? Sandals would be great. I've seen kids wear natives too.

Definitely sandals.
Natives are very sweaty, because of the plastic.

Idk! That's why I'm asking! For some reason, the saltwater sandals seem too feminine to me. I like to dress him more feminine (tight little shorts, smoking flats, etc), but I wasnt sure about the sandals.
Thanks!

Sandals are great. Even better without socks. You can alternate between sandals and sneakers.
