Have you tried Faye Kellerman's books? She has a whole series - the Peter Decker/Rina Lazarus series - about a cop who solves crimes with some help/input from a frum woman. A number of the books touch on Jewish themes. The series has been around for years and I think spans about 20+ years now in the life of the characters.

She also has some standalone books, as well as some she's co-authored.

"Adult novels" usually means p0r!09raphic reading material.

You may want to edit your title.

I was going to suggest Pride and Prejudice.

Although it is not a "Jewish novel," it centers around many themes that should resonate with anyone who has gone through the shidduch system.

And it is wonderfully written.

Freefall by Miriam Zakon
Map the Starlight by Leah Gebber
Sunshowers by R. Schreiber - not a novel but reads wonderfully
I can tell you some of my favorites but I'll assume you've read them. These are the relatively newer ones that maybe you haven't seen yet.

Freefall was excellent and I don’t usually like historical fiction. So was Promise me Jerusalem but it does make you cry so be warned. Another one that’s not as heavy was Normal Like Me which was serialized in mishpacha, everyone I’ve lent it to had loved it.

Thanks so much for the shout out!

Yup A Veiled Truth is available online from Israel Bookshop (and local delivery if you're in Lakewood direct from their warehouse, and possibly in local groceries now that other shops are closed)

Working on the Grey Lines right now (like literally this moment - just peeked into imamother for a two minute break) - if the world doesn't end by next Succos it's scheduled for release then im yirtzeh Hashem!
