Yes I will be staying home for pesach. I know this is what I have to do right now for all of our safety. But every time I see tragic news online in makes me want to see my family even more. I don’t know how long it will be until I see them again. Does anyone else feel an urge to see family after hearing sad news?

Not even the sad news! Just wondering when can I see everyone again??? At what point will it be safe enough for us to see each other??? I even miss the people I thought I didn't like...

Yes! I lay in bed last night physically hurting from missing them. As soon as this is over I want to jump on a plane and seed them

This only works if they're local: we do drive by visits. Bubby comes outside to say hi to the kids in the car from six feet away. It's better than nothing.

Yes, we've been doing that too. The first lonely Shabbos we walked over to two of our kids and shmuezed from a great distance outdoors.

My mother is unfortunately sitting Shiva right now. And all I can say is thank God for zoom. Both, so the family can sit together in a chat and we publicized other meetings that ppl can drift in and out, like a regular Shiva hours
