Across Quebec, there are currently 3420 confirmed cases and 25 deaths. The outbreak is relatively small and the government has taken action swiftly. Nevertheless, the Jewish community across all spectrums has very close ties to the New York community. People traveled and had guests for Purim.
We lost a 67-year-old father of a large family and several community members are in the ICU in critical condition.
