I put this under manners and etiquette because obviously somethings are appropriate and acceptable on Imamother and somethings are not. I'm failing to understand the line of what makes something acceptable and something else not. Why is it that a fun thread about swinging from chandeliers is not appropriate, but threads that advocate that people should violate that which is said by Rebbeyim, the government (and I do believe that there is a Halacha that you must follow the laws of your host country) and directives giving by the CDC and continue on their merry way is acceptable?

The deleted thread OP had no indication of being a fun thread. It seemed in poor taste. The responses were funny though.

I don't think that was a fun thread about swinging from chandeliers. People were making fun of it. The OP of that thread said it was a retaliation post. It seemed designed to stir up controversy.

Just because it wasn't intended as a fun thread, (fun was clearly was not OP's intention) does not mean we cannot make it one!

I was looking forward to everyone else's creativity.
