Yesterday I saw that the fire dept in Lakewood will not be having any fires to burn the chometz erev Pesach. In addition, they do not allow private fires as thousands of fires around town will be dangerous and a huge fire hazard. The Rabbonim have said to crush the 10 crumbs and flush it.
I am worried that there will be many who will decide to make a fire anyway and cause a big chillul hashem.
Any thoughts or suggestions?

Publicize the psak and do the right thing yourself is all you can do.

We need to focus inward and follow what the rabbanim are saying about flushing the 10 tiny pieces of chometz and not making a sereifa. And we need to continue focusing inward and not looking outside to see nor video those that c"v aren't listening to the rabbanim.

How exactly can I burn the dough on my stove top? Should I put it on a skewer and burn it that way as though I'm toasting marshmallows?
I'd like to do this without setting off the smoke alarm!
