The Jewish girls around the world series by miriam walfish is wonderful.
Suitable for ages 9-13, approx.
The books are very well researched, nicely developed, with captivating plots.
My girls really enjoyed them

300 pages? How old are they? That's Me Tzviki Green is 300 pages and suitable for tweens but I don't know about other books.
I forgot about a great book I've read that I would have mentioned in other threads, called Name The Stars(Penina Weiser). I would say, 7th, maybe 6th and up. I loved it. There's also a book called Ticket to Life (Esther Toker) perfect for that age.

My girls might have been younger and it depends on the sophistication of the child, but we (I read them too) loved Penina's Plan and the whole series by Miriam Walfish.
I don't remember the other titles, they were like the American Girl books but Jewish Historical Fiction.
