Oh, I do this test everyday. It lasts for about 23.5 nano seconds.

Try drinking 8 oz. vinegar right before sof zman to preserve whatever you have inside.

What more can I tell you?

Are you seriously comparing dairy to chocolate?

I can go without dairy for years, not counting cheese delicacies, ice cream and milk chocolate.

But 7 days without chocolate, am I doomed?

I think it lasts roughly 28 days in the body. That seems to be the consistent cycle of my chocolate cravings and resulting happiness By Pesach I don’t want to take a chance of not being yotzei the mitzva of b’simcha so I have everyday. 😉 Litvish.

Oh, no, every year, this BT finds out more she's been doing wrong!

I'm rushing right now to throw away the chocolate Seder plate I bought for the kids to enjoy on Chol Hamoed.

Do you know, do I have to burn my chocolate on my grill before Pesach?

I'm pretty sure I'm still carrying every ounce of chocolate I've eaten since childhood. Confused

Are you chassidish? Sounds chassidish to me. I could never live like that, it would be too traumatizing. Oy, you must feel so deprived. My great-uncle's second cousin is chassidish and her Rav said she can eat chocolate only on chol hamoed.

I feel for you. Chocolate deprivation is a serious manner.

Truth: One pregnancy I couldn't eat chocolate because it made me very ill. I felt better once I had the baby and I told DH that he wasn't allowed to come back to the hospital to visit me and the baby unless he brought chocolate with him.

I am Chassidish. We dont eat chocolate seven days prior to pesach for this very reason. Chocolate is not even allowed to BE in your body on Pesach. I know for a fact that all Chassidim have this minhag.

I assume that's not a cc cookie in your avatar.
Which reminds me of those words of wisdom: My mother giving me oatmeal raisin cookies is why I have trust issues.

You can make your own chocolate
Equal parts
Cocoa
Sugar or sugar substitute
Coconut oil

Mix well pour into molds or flat on a plate and break it up

Super easy

Then add whatever you want
Nuts, fruit, a little bit of cayane, cinnamon, toasted quinoa if you use

You must keep it in the fridge because it melts easy
