Did any of you take full precautions including washing hands frequently, not touching face, wearing a mask when out, isolating, clorox wiping down everything that comes into the home since Purim and still got sick with covid 19?

Yes.
My husband has it for 2 weeks already and hardly getting better yet.
We were all very strictly quarantined since after Purim for over 3 weeks already.
It was clearly going around NYC by Purim already.

Literally it means the quantity of virus that you are exposed to.

There is theory that a small amount of virus will not make you sick but no one really knows anything.

The theory is based on reality that people are exposed to all kinds of pathogens in real life and don't get sick all the time. Sometimes the quantity that you are exposed to is small enough so that your body's immune system successfully neutralizes it.

But the safest thing to do is to try not to expose yourself to ANY virus which would include either staying home or taking precautions if outside AND completely decontaminating yourself when you get home - e.g. take all outer clothing - take off shoes - wash hands and face etc.

According to that theory, maybe small amounts of exposure can act like an immunization and prime your immune system to fight off a later exposure?

If he didn't wear gloves and mask then that's considered no precautions.

Hashem had some Divine timing. Purim happened when it did, not a week later. It's possible some of us got it from Purim. No kicking ourselves if we did what we were supposed to do.

I woke up on Purim morning with aching joint, stomacheache and headache.
Started coughing by Shabbos after Purim.
By Monday after purim I had 99 temp.
It took about 2 weeks to be fully back to normal. Bh I had only 'mild' symptoms which was fever less than 101, coughing, and dizziness/lightheadedness.
I have no idea if I even had covid-19 as I didn't test.
