In the past I baked using shmurah cake meal. I just converted my year round recipes. As long as it has chocolate or apples/ cinnamon it would taste good. A plain cake or choco chip cookies has a heavy taste.
For every cup of flour I used half a cup of shmurah cake meal. It still is a little heavy because of the nature of shmurah.
If you don't use shmurah than it's one cup of flour equals 5/8ths of a cup I think.
This year I decided to bake with almond flour instead. I hope things come out lighter!
