I wouldn't have normally responded on such a thread, I don't post here all that much, but I was deeply moved by your words. Even in such a hard sad time, you're thinking of others, and of doing mitzvos, and giving so many people a chance to do a mitzva.
May these many mitzvos be a zchus for you and for your parent's neshama. May hashem see this love you have for him, and comfort you with love.

Dear OP, I am crying as I write this. This is so absolutely difficult- to lose a loved one and not have people come to be Menachem avel. Hashem should give you koach to get thru this challenge and may you be comforted.
