I applied for unemployment online about 2 weeks ago. It still says it's pending. Did anyone get approved yet? Just wondering.

Yes, I got approved in NJ after being pending for a while. Keep checking. Pending is good!

Bump I’ve been pending for 17 days. Is that ok? Can I claim benefits while pending? I can’t get into the system. Anyone else get on?

Bh I just got approved over yt. I would say it was probably close to 17 days when I got approved. You can't claim benefits until it is filed. It is all paid retroactively. They are so backed up its impossible to get through. What do you mean you can't get into the system?

No you answer some questions and claim benefits weekly

I think the claims that are only allowed because of covid are retroactive. Not positive.

Yes, my husband once claimed benefits months later, and was able to collect the entire amount retroactively. These days, rest assured you can. However, be patient. It may take weeks. I applied in NJ over 3 weeks ago, and it still says pending.
