Hi, does anyone have a non gebroket recipe for Almond Thumbprint cookies? I haven't been home for Pesach for awhile, and I had a great recipe for them. In my very sophisticated filing system, I can't seem to find the envelope that I had it scribbled on. My kids for some reason remember them fondly and I would like to try and replicate them. Thanks so much.

Thumbprint Cookies
4 egg yolks
¾ cup sugar
2 cups ground almonds/almond flour
½ cup strawberry jam
Beat yolks and sugar. Add almonds, mix. Refrigerate half hour. Roll into balls, place an inch apart. Use thumb to make an indent. Put jam in the print. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Yields 30 cookies.

I made one that I made up and came out heaven but I didn't measure it.
I put 3 or 4 eggs don't remember
Almond flour
Maple syrup
Cinnamon
Oil
Jam in cookies.
