I used a liner for the crockpot - the Israeli Red and Yellow Pkt and the entire underneath and a large part of the sides melted.
Is this a safety concern - can I eat the food?

Please advise.
many many thanks

You should always put in water under the plastic. I would not eat melted plastic.

Definitely don't eat it. I can't be too healthy for you. It's not worth it

I'd think most of the food is fine. I just wouldn't dish out what was right next to the melted plastic. (Said from experience.)

I had to take everything out to remove sum remnants of stuck plastic on the side. Then I returned the lot back in. I guess it was the sauce of the steak that was right underneath with the slices of steak right thereafter.
