Someone close to me got acs called on them. They are a great family. A fired worker wanted to get back at his boss so he called acs the day that he got fired. They live in NYC. Is there anyone that they can call to guide and help them?

If they're a normal family, then it's an open and shut case. NY inspectors see enough true abuse and neglect that they're not going to slow-burn a family who is feeding and clothing their children, where everyone has a bed. They'll do random visits a few times over the next few months, and then shut the file.

My family has had a few cases opened - if it a healthy home it will be open and closed
