If I take the paid maternity leave from the doe does anyone know when y check from the uft comes? It's been almost a month andi and haven't received anything and I need the money!

Hi! I got mine relatively quickly a year ago. I think covid-19 is probably causing a delay. Did you put your leave into solas right away? Also, idk if this can help you but you may be able to take the emergency family leave with partial pay for another 6 weeks after your paid parental leave if you don't have ther usual childcare for your children due to coronavirus. It is 2/3 of your pay up to $200. You can speak to the uft to find out more or look up payroll memo 6 in the hr connect website. There isn't a lot of info available about it but it does exist.
