Reading these responses, one thing that’s hard for me is that I have a bunch of young kids so it’s hard for me to get out for a walk with them alone. And dh and I can’t walk in the evening because they can’t be left alone. Any ideas?

Walk with your kids. Let your husband watch the kids while you get some fresh air solo, and you can do the same for him. For alone time, wait until the kids fall asleep and spend time together in the house.

My kids are toddlers. Most of the day is free play but I do organized meal times and several quick activities. I've been letting the mess get way worse than usual but we still clean up several times a day. I've been keeping things laid back but making sure there's an element of structure to the day that's predictable. I feel like my kids need both. They need a relaxing of rules but they also need stability. I originally allowed a lot more screen time (daily 1-2 hours) but I cut back to our regular amount (1 hour once a week) because they were nuts after watching ( hours long tantrums).
