I am seriously challenged with yeast baking.

I have rhodes rolls. How can I use to make challah or desserts? With challah would love to make a more creative type of challah. Thank you!

You can put them close to each other so they attach into one big pull apart challah.

Use whatever toppings you like. I make them into onion rolls, my kids love them. You can make garlic bread. Or a cinnamon and sugar topping to make it sweet.

Omg these are the best!

Follow directions on the bag to let rise. Then:

Pizza rolls:
Roll each roll in marinara sauce, placed in pan, liberally cover with cheese and bake!

Dessert rolls:
Brush each wall and melted margarine, sprinkle liberally the cinnamon, sugar, and cocoa powder. Sprinkle in some chocolate chips and bake.

They are great!

In addition to the above, here are a couple more.

You can also stretch out each one and braid like challah. We add streusel or everything spice to the top and it tastes amazing! People have asked for my recipe Smile

I’ve also fried and filled them like donuts.

You don’t need any of us to give you step-by-step directions, the back of the bag has them. Just follow the directions. Do not stretch the balls to braid. Use these to make a pull apart challah.

Mix raw meat with spices and cut up veggies.
Smush 2 rolls together, put raw meat on top, close up the dough. Put in pan, seam side down. Egg and bake on 375 for 40ish min

I defrost the rolls and usually use 2-3 for each braid of a 6 braid, makes a decent size challah.
My family prefers this Challah!

I've also rolled into rope, dipped in cinnamon and sugar and twirl it into a bun, really good.

For us, one problem with using it for bread or challah is that it is not as satisfying. I can give my kids one or two homemade rolls and they will be full, but I need to give them 6 or 8 of the Rhodes rolls to feel satisfied.

They do make good sufganiyot, though, and I hear really good monkey bread.

Don't try braiding the rolls, make pull apart challah.

For braided challah buy the Rhodes frozen bread loaves and braid like this:
https://betweencarpools.com/th.....llah/

Doesn't get easier than that 😉

There's a cheese monkey bread in KBD for Kids. I take one loaf, cut in 20 pieces, stuff with cheese, then put in a 9" pan.
