Have you read it?
Blurb says: A real-life account of one family’s uplifting story of crisis, faith, and growth
I'm wondering if it's heavy, sad? Something you'd want to read to relax on Shabbos?
(Considering it's about the only new book I haven't read yet, just wondering if it will serve my purpose).
Thanks!

I’d also love a review of that and of Acquired Immunity if anyone read it.

I read it when it was serialized in Hamodia some time ago. I seem to recall that I found it offensively anti-anti-vax. (I usually do enjoy her books.) YMMV : )

I was saving it for Shabbos so thank you for that tip.

I remember now looking at the book when I bought a bunch of new ones for Chanukah, & being afraid I'd find it too depressing. (I think I am noticing that I tend to absorb too much of other people's pain, so this would not be a book for me.)

May Hashem give this family much nechama and simchos in their lives.

I haven't read it yet but I have read a lot of other material by the author and she has a wonderful style. However I do expect there to be a lot of sadness in this book. It's supposed to be in the "inspiration through hard times" type of category so I guess it depends if you're the type to notice more the inspiration or the hard times.

Has anyone read this book? Did you enjoy it, or was it too sad?

Just read this book and I was fascinated by it. I remember reading the mishpacha article and it said the family suffered from more tzaaros that were not included in the book. Now that I read the book and learnt the people involved I’m interested in knowing what happened after the book went to print but can’t find mishpacha. Can someone enlighten me?

Hello! I am the author of the book. Thank you for your feedback. It's always good to hear when people enjoy reading what I write.

After the book was written, my oldest brother, Chaim Dovid A"H, was niftar from cancer. I started a thread about it here back when he got sick, and another when he was niftar:
